It appears that the only thing this BB may hate as much as Consumer Reports is SEARS, and I was able to combine both yesterday to a favorable result.
I've been unable to locate the digital tire pressure gauge I've had for the past 10+ years. The kids had given me another a few years ago, a Slime LED, but I always preferred my Accutire LCD. I knew Sears sold it (or rebadged Craftsman version), so Googled a little first to see if other auto parts store sold it. Saw link for CR and that it's their top-rated gauge.
Stopped at Sears, picked it up.
Thank you Sears.
I've spent a lot of money at Sears over the past 40 years, even worked there in High School. Worked in Div's 3, 11, & 34, selling SLR's and even cutting home wiring to length. It's changed a lot in since then, and if looking for clothes it's not my first choice.
In spite of others complaining about their recent addition of Chinese Craftsman, I can't think of a better place to purchase made-in-USA tools. I realize that's not important to most Americans, but it still resonates with me.
Just last year I was able to buy online a set of tires for my daughter (2005 Arc) to have installed at a Sears 800 miles away where she's attending Nebraska Medical School.
It's also a great source of Kenmore (et. al.) appliances
