I just got back from passing through Stockholm on the way to the Saab OC in Finland. If you have some time to see Stockholm (which I did, as I had 10 hours between the airport at Arlanda and the Viking ferry line departure) go to Gamla Stan (old town). Nice and touristy and a great place to shop and take pics. Also, if you need Saab parts, the exchange rate is good and you may want to look up a Saab-Ana dealership. I went past one on the way from the airport.... nuts. I carried lots of stuff back in my luggage w/o any problems (bumper parts, headlights... Customs thought I was nutty). Stockholm in general was very interesting and I could have spent another day or 2 there just exploring.
As far as museums, if you can get to Uusakaupunkii, Finland (an hour or 2 north as I recall, from the harbor in Turku) the Valmet Museum is very nice, with 40 or so rare Saabs in it, plus the Valmet factory is there, but I don't know if they give tours (they did for our group).
Email me seperately if you have any q's.
