after 3 c900s (88 900T 3 dr auto, 87 900T 3 dr 5 spd, 91 900 SE conv 5 spd), i'd take my 92 9000T 5spd hands down.
imho, the 9000's just a better car. faster, roomier, shifting is crisper and it has a far easier time transferring its power into forward motion. sure the styling's not as funky, the ignition's in the wrong place and it's got some big $$$ computer components that can crap out but my 900s weren't a whole lot cheaper to run. and i've even grown to really dig the '80s Giugiaro/Chrysler LeBaron styling (talk about acquired tastes).
it's the best realization of Saab's philosophy of functionality and performance...
