I would have to say an '87 through '89, the '87 as you know already has water cooled turbo plumbing. If there's any advantage to a 2.4 fuel system over a 2.2 an '89 would be nice to start with. Then in '90 they went to the goofy one year only DI-ACP system! As far as "displacement VS. spin in a Turbo" I'm more into short stroke engines as it's difficult to get a good rod stroke ratio even with the 2.3's 6mm taller block. Guess I'm a bit too prejudice having 2 early 9000T's that came with factory Air Flow Kits! Take care, Dave
