no markings on ecu. i've done several ecu upgrades on saabs & audis as well and i've never seen a sticker or tag from the company. so i thought nothing unusual about it. i only have the stock boost gauge which you & i know is not a true gauge but it goes 1/2 to yellow in 2nd gear. i use 93 octane ALL the time. the car got peppier w/ just the 3" dp but since having the ecu married to the car i honestly can't tell if it's faster. prior to the ecu mod, i was using a manual boost controller installed inline w/ the bpv for a little extra boost in 1st & 2nd and i swear the car felt faster. maybe it isn't fuel cutoff???!!!! i check for vacuum leak. one thing i didnlt do was disconnect battery for 30 minutes. how important is that? will it have any effect if i do it now?
