Just other Saab wheels on them. :)
I have swapped wheels around on old 900s with the same bolt pattern, and that is very straightforward. The 4x4.5" pattern is very popular on older Japanese cars that have smaller offsets, so finding wheels that are Saab-compatible is pretty easy. The issue you *may* have with 99s is that the hub bore on them is enormous, and assuming you can find wheels with a bigger center bore finding centering rings could be a problem. Of course, you can easily fix all this by installing some c900 spindles with the smaller bore...
All 900s have about the same size/width/offset requirements whether old or new bolt pattern. I think (but don't know) the 99 wheel well is very similar to a c900 in dimensions, maybe slightly smaller. You probably have very similar restrictions. I'm betting they wouldn't even come into play, because you're probably not trying to fit 18s with 225s on a 99. ;) I think any 15x7 or 16x7 wheel with a ~37ish offset would be just fine and some Rota RBs in 16x7 would look PERFECT on a 99.
If someone wants to sell me a nice 99 for cheap, I'll check it out myself. :D
