OIC - if it's engine harness to chassis harness the only connection points for LH 2.4 are battery power, switched power, ground, tach signal, speed signal and then some stuff you don't need, like AC and automatic transmission range sensor. Check engine light is your choice, but frankly I'd have one - it costs nothing, and might save your bacon if something goes really wrong... running a race with an ongoing lean condition could be motor destruction. Ask me how I know. :)
