Shaun,
Nuts, I just thought that I was getting it from Paceo, but man what a mess your in. I'm saving their catalogue for the next fire tonight. What a disapointment and was wondering what was the final cost was? I ask this because when I got my fun final bill for my car to be fixed for $4700 I talked to a friend that took his mechanic to couurt. At least in Colorado mechanics don't fair well in a small claims court. I'm not a really big into litigation, but your situation almost sounds like a pretty good case.
I agree with Kevin to check for leaks in the head. I'd still believe that you still have a leak in the head gasket, but if its a ring problem...dang. My big oil leak was comming from the timing chain area that wasn't right with the PACEO's copper gasket. I was loosing 1 qt every 2 weeks.
But you can bet that I'll never recomend PACEO for anything to anyone. What is difficult to believe, they crapped out with the engine rebuild, and they want you to pay for the engine removal, shipping on the hopes that they will fix it the 2nd time? Plus again the install, and that nothing will go wrong? And not to mention your time. Too much to swallow.

Good luck,
Bill in Denver
