Principal difference between 91 and 92 Aeros was electronics. 92 had much more complex and, some would say, unreliable, though my experience has been good) electronics. (2 had TCS-ABS system, 91 had ABS only. 92 had extra engine plumbing to go with electronics e.g. TCS throttle body. Engine performance was identical in 91s and 92s though 92s may be faster in some circumstances due to TCS. 91s and 92s are faster than later Aeros because they are geared lower.
A good 91 or 92 will be in the range $5k-9k, plus figure a couple thousand in deferred maintenance .... versus $40k for an 01 Aero!
There are two Talladega Red cars advertised on this site right now (Mega Auto Sales on 9000 classifieds board), one is a 91 and one is a 92.
