I absolutely love it. I wasn't even looking for one, but for a 900 SPG. Being a 900 guy, I didn't know that much about the 9000 (if I did I would have held out for an Aero). I paid top dollar for it but it was low mileage and had an excellent maintenance history. Yes, it is very quick. I've made some performance mods and now it's even more fun. I like the idea of owning a car that not everyone else has. I do my own maintenance and that which is beyond me I take to an independent shop. Two problems I've had: the gas tank developed a mysterious crack and the SRS light has been on ever since hitting a bone jarring bump. Once, the car went into the dreaded "limp home mode" w/the TCS warning light on, on a hot day. I merely pulled over, turned it off. I offered a prayer to the SAAB God, giving thanks for such a wonderful car. Then, turned it on and off I went with out a problem since. (85K)
