Vince, you have much money in your engine and if I'm not mistaken you are also going to get one of the beefed up 4 speed tranny's. I more than understand the money issue, but you built a potentially great engine and you need to let it live up to what you built it to do.
HKS, probably better all around system for everyday drivability, if it will work, but no way to defeat the rev limit and I feel that you will still be needing larger injectors, I think you have 24 lb/hr right now. I also feel that you should look at using the Volvo AMM, Bosch part# 0 280 212 002, if your system is LH 2.2, inside diameter is larger and I know that it work; there are probably even better Bosch AMMs, that are even larger and compatable.
EIC, if money is really a problem, will let you defeat the rev limit, if you choose large enough injectors, my 42 lb/hr injectors will not support revs over 6500 at boost over 5 psi with a 3 bar FPR. I really believe this should be a 4 injector setup in the intake runners. If you are looking for high boost above 6K with 3 bar FPR, I know that 42lb/hr injectors can't keep up. Remember your stock system will go off line at 6200 RPM. Using a RRFPR will extend the range of the injectors. If DSM injectors really are 45 lb/hr, combined with a RRFPR might be a good choice, they can be found at a recycler for cheap with the injector harness. You can put your stock system back the way it was meant to be and supplement where need with the EIC. I would also look at using the AMM from the Volvo.
SDS 3D, fuel only, this can probably be ordered in a form that can be easily upgraded to the 3E, fuel and ignition, believe me, when you can control your ignition, the engine will really come to life. The problem here, if money is a real problem, is that you are still going to want much larger injectors, at least 50 lb/hr, preferably 60's low impedence. This means you have to buy the injectors and the low impedence resistor pack. I think that you might be satisfied for a while with 30's with a RRFPR, but I can't see the 24's cutting it.
Now, here's what I do, if I really wanted this and was tight on money, which I am, but can afford the SDS 3D system:
Buy the SDS 3D, hopefully upgradeable to 3E, I'm really sure that Ross will work with you on that.
Piggyback the 3D on your stock system as an EIC, the injector bosses are fairly cheap, or you could probaly have them made and welded to the intake for a reasonable price. This would allow you to get supplemental injectors for almost nothing, (could do the same with EIC), paticularly if you aren't wanting to extend the rev limit at present.
Just some stuff to think about, I know that you'd be better off than you are now, no matter your choice, good luck.
