The forge "saab" valve was designed as a direct replacement for the Bosch bypass valve commonly used by SAAB, Porsche, etc.
So it should fit an 88SPG just fime. You could check to verify that you have a 25mm inlet and 25mm outlet, but I am pretty sure that the Bosch bypass valves are the same size in all SAABs, therefore the Forge bypass valve will work in all SAABs.
