I made my own short throw shifter. Stripped the shift rod of the reverse lock out and spring loaded ball, cut off 1.5 inches off the bottom, and redrilled the hole for the pin and slot for reverse lock out, reassembled and it worked beautiful. What advantage is there, if any, to buying one?
