Viggen max boost. Is dealer right? (long)

I remember multiple posts on this BB about Viggens having boost problem and arrow staying in yellow, never going in red. The same happens on mine ’00 Viggen with 1.5k miles on it. 3-5th gears, full throttle, arrow stays at the end of yellow and never goes into red.
I talked to my dealer during 1k service, and was told they know nothing about this, even printed posts from this BB haven’t convinced them that it should go to red. Dealer says that they called SaabUSA and were told that it is normal, and it should never go into red…
Also dealer told that boost gauge is electronic and is relative, and he could calibrate it so that it would go in red. But no measurements with external gage were done, just usual ‘Test droved. Drives fine’ Dealership is in downtown of Seattle, there is no place is even to test-drive it hard…
Does anyone knows or has some official information about turbo indicator behavior? Any experience fixing it? Dealer refuses to do any checks until I don’t have anything from Saab telling that it should go into red….
Before buying Viggen I testdrived 9-5 Aero, and Aero’s indicator was peaking into end of red section. I assume Aero and Viggen have the same T7?
Another question: if turbo isn’t going into red because of some problem would it limit my max speed? Dealer agrees that if I will can’t reach 155 mph, then there is a problem and he will look into it.

'00 Silver Viggen
(still never seen boost in red :( )
