89 900C, dealer installed exhaust (guy before me) all Saab parts turbo to tail.

Downpipe is 2.5", after the cat it necks down to what I see as about 2.25" pipe just before the muffler.

I see guys posting about going to a 2.5" DP and I get confused. Why is mine already 2.5"?

This may explain why my car has such great performance with just the cat punched, air can opened up, PCV rerouted, AMM screens removed, and boost turned up.
