Replaced Bailey dump valve -tested HKS, Forge

After my Bailey valve failed I went to test the HKS sequential valve. It seemed very top quality, but I was astonished at the amount of air exiting through the intake system not only at low boost, but at high boost too in conjunction with the dumped air, even at the most sensitive setting. The HKS delaer dismissed this as normal. Furthermore the valve's sound was high pitched chirping, which I didn't like.
I then went to the Forge dealer and installed what was recommended to me considering the boost pressure (1.4 bar max), a durable double-piston valve. This too did not open at low boost pressures unlike the Bailey which relieved all boost even at near vacuum, but at max boost it releases the air in a split second -very fast. Considering the Forge was half the price of the HKS, I went with that.
My concern is, at low boost throttle release I can hear the air through the intake fluttering in the compressor. It was explained to me that this is not damaging since it only happens at low pressure, and that a sensitive valve like the Bailey would be more damaging since it's capacity would be insufficient at full boost.. opinions?
