Unfortunately the c900 gearbox cannot handle more torque than a tyical 'stage 1' kind of tuning packege provides. Then you would have something like 220-235 hp @ 5,500 and 350 Nm of torque. Saab's EV-1 concept car OTOH had 334 Nm @ 3,500, and 285 hp @ 6,500. If you want more power in a c900 and are not into regarding trannies as a consumable, this is the way to go IMO.
What this example shows is that it's impossible to say a trans can take a certain hp number if you don't state whether the engine makes the power at 10,000 rpm with x torque or at 1,000 rpm with 10x.
Yes, boatloads of torque is fun, but you can have only so much in a FWD car with a relatively fragile trans.
