I hate to bear bad news, but I felt I needed to pass this along.

Peterborough crash kills Amherst brothers, 17, 18 By BENJAMIN KEPPLE, Union Leader Staff PETERBOROUGH, N.H., Nov. 4 - Two teenage brothers from Amherst died yesterday in a two-vehicle accident on Route 101. The accident also injured four Keene residents and a Winchester woman.
Peterborough police said Kyle Chrisman, 18, and Timothy Chrisman, 17, were killed at about 12:30 p.m. on a two-lane section of the highway, in the area of Cunningham Pond Road. Police said Kyle Chrisman was driving a 1988 Saab east when the car crossed the centerline, colliding with a 1999 GMC Yukon driven west by Vanessa Warner, 36, of Keene. The Chrismans were pronounced dead at the scene, while the five occupants of the Yukon were taken to Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough. Police identified the four passengers in the Yukon as: Tina Connor, 36, of Winchester; John Dibernardo, 51, of Keene; Waldo Holden, 59, of Keene; and David Torrey, 54, of Keene. Authorities said the five had non life-threatening injuries, and hospital officials said two of the five had already been discharged. They would not identify the two people released. The Yukon had its front end crushed nearly up to the passenger cabin. The Saab's front end was destroyed, and the car's passenger side was severely smashed in. Police kept the one-mile stretch of Route 101 closed until about 4:30 p.m. Thanks to a detour along Cunningham Pond and East Mountain Roads, however, traffic flowed generally smoothly until the road was re-opened.
