Well, how much power can your drive train handle? As you drop the compression ratio, the engine gets wimpy until you get on boost, so you will be slower off the the line. Gas mileage will also hurt with low compression ratios.
You might be better off with a LARGE intercooler to improve volumetric efficiency, cold air induction etc. Insulate the intake plumbing etc.
Have you studied any good books on turbcharging?
