For me, I personally hate the idea of people spending their hard earned $$$ (no matter if it's $500 or a million) on a car of their dream & it's only driven for normal street use. Yes, some cars are rare & are no longer made but at least for me, I enjoy my SPG the most when I am flying around the track keeping up or beating 911T's, Vette's, M3's & a ton of other cars I shouldn't be close to!! Yes, it is harder on them doing this than going 70 mph down the highway but I feel the track is the only place cars can truely be enjoyed!!
I am building a 88 SPG which will have over 300 HP, new paint, & the list goes on. It WILL be at the track (roadcoarse) at least 2-3 times a year. Yes, I could buy a beater VW, BMW or whatever but my SPG's are built to be driven :o)
