Love to try one.

Was wondering a bit about the UHMWPE. Pretty low coefficient of friction--will it slide vs. the steel rack if the bushing is in shear? Would polyurethane act more like a traditional suspension bushing (sticks to ID and OD and takes the load as shear or torque?)

Re: the rack brace--it seems like a stiff bushing will transfer considerable steering load to the firewall (which has been getting off pretty easy with all that rubber around). I'm wondering if the problem that Abbott was solving was fatigue cracking around the mounting bolts for the improved rack clamp?
