Just kidding....
I have a high flow cat, I removed the mid muffler, and have an Abbott 4" oval silencer on the rear. Under deceleration I get popping too. More noticalbe with a harsh deceleration. Some people think it's an exhaust leak etc. But it's just what happens when you take out start removing parts of your exhaust system. They put it on there for a reason!
I personally don't mind sounding like a rally car =). I had a guy in an M3 give me an odd look just this morning while hearing my car pop a few times while coming to the light. I jsut looked at him and laughed. Sure enough when the light turned green I let him have it. M3's aren't as fast as I would have thought, I believe he had an automatic as well, that never helps. Blow off valves are a blast too, I love letting it blast in the opponents ear while passing them ( Turbo lag, opponents allways get a jump on me). Anyhow, lots of people have this "problem" . It is more of an after effect really. From what I hear it won't hurt anything.
Happy Motoring!
