Let me car sit for you to match my 99 Viggen. I'll drive yours once in a while like I do mine, only 8,000 miles on my so far. Seriously I would keep it, when you come home on holidays I assume, you can dust it off and use it. Just store it properly, plus after 3 years car would be higher value than mine with the low mileage.
Stan, I also need help, I am out of town in Wilson, NC, and my engine light came on due to the air duct pipe coming loose from air mass meter to engine intake (I checked air filter number to order the K&N Sunday night)after I arrived. Corrected the hose clamp, and car now runs perfect again of course, but the loose duct of course made the engine management system get a screwed up with the proper air paramters. Do you know how to reset the fault codes to erase this message. I tried fuses and disconnecting battery, but still on. Driving home to Richmond, Va. tomorrow afternoon, and I am sure the disconnect duct caused the fault code, but would sure like to erase and have engine management system recheck before I drive 2.5 hours. No Saab dealer closer than Richmond any way. Good luck in Paris, keep the car and buy an 5 door Aero while your in Europe.
