Considering the car held up so well and you walked away, my inclination would be to replace it with exactly what you had. When I suffered a similar accident in my older BMW 325iX and walked away unscathed, it was the only car I wanted...sadly, this was in '94 and the car was no longer in production.

There's a '99 Viggen at Charles River Saab here in Boston that was recently traded in (on a 9-5 Aero, I was told), if you wanted to stick w/ Lightning Blue. My only other choice right now might be a BMW 330xi, but I'd want the wagon, and you can only get the 2.5 liter engine in it. Bummer...
