SO after my first installation, which my webshots gallery shows, I drove the car, and blew off the passenger side hose at about 18psi.

Then, I went out this morning, and quickly reattached the hose, and tried to tighten down the clamps as much as I could...leaving the remaining dish soap on the pipe and inside the hose. I took it out for a VERY EASY spin...and blew off the same hose at 5psi.

SO then I tore everything down again, pulled the bumper off and everything...I pulled the intercooler out, and both hoses, and I removed both pieces of plastic from the sides of the body holes where the IC pipes and hoses go through (necessary in order to install the IC with the hoses already attached OFF the car). I went and got new gear drive clamps, cleaned all of the dish soap off the passenger side pipe and connecting hose. Then I installed two clamps on that side to hold it extra secure, and I installed an additional clamp on the drivers side just to be sure that one didn't move. Then I reinstalled, tightened the two clamps connecting the two hoses to the delivery pipe and turbo outlet. I mounted everything back up.

Hopefully now it won't blow off..but what should I do to be safe? Should I take it really easy for a while and let the hoses "mate" to the pipes or something? Does getting the engine hot help? Should I try to not make positive boost for a week or so? How will I know when it's been enough time to actually see what the new IC can do? I really don't want to have to tear everything down again....

note: I'm not down about this whole thing..just a little annoyed...but I think the look of it when it's all done every time really makes me happy...
