If you add 22% to my 143 Kw for drivetrain loss and 5% for altitude you get to 174 Kw multiply the 143 Kw by 1.33 to arrive at horsepower at the flywheel you get 232 horses.
I still beleive that the Aeros cpu was installed insted of a Viggens. My dealer is just too dumb to work it out. Peak power and torque arrive to early to be effective.
Bottom line I had hoped there were some technical explanations, I had hoped there were some technical explanations, I notice that there are no replies from SAAB.
By the way the BMW 330I was tested and reached a true 254 Km/H. I suppose I need to test it head to head on topend, I suppose I had better find one to test against.
Have any of you tried your viggens and clocked it over traps yet.
My old 900 still had room to pass 250 km/h mark when an M3 had reached it's governed speed. The Viggen runs out too soon.
I'll keep you informed, I will video tape my run for dealer this weekend and SAAB.
