Intercooler flow-testing can be a very subjective topic. The important info is what pressure the flow testing was done at. (The following example is borrowed from another person's post on another site and is not based on reality, just an example!)... You could get even the STOCK intercooler on a 9-3 to flow at 1000000000000cfm *IF* you put 1000000000psi through it. Obviously these numbers are not real, but hopefully you understand my point. In my opinion, all these intercoolers that we have on the market should be flow-tested on the SAME equipment with the SAME psi by a third party! (Any volunteers for that, btw?)
All this being said, I bought an MP intercooler last week ;-) Do some searching on here, there has been a LOT of discussion on this topic lately as the weather has gotten warmer, and many people have posted info about the results they've seen with upgraded intercoolers.
