The floor pan is pretty rusty inside, , driver's side, especially around the pedals. Might be a bear to remove the pedal assembly? The rockers look good from the outside but don't know about the inside. I read about drilling 1/2" holes so they can be treated. I don't know what size rubber plugs are available? Would even larger holes harm anything? I've also read the rockers were rustproofed from the inside by using parafin wax? Does anyone know if this is true? If not, I was thinking of ordering Eastwood's internal frame coating which is some type of rust-stopper and paint combination. I don't know how one would clean out the rockers inside tunnel before treating? Maybe use some etch primer? Oh, still looking for storage for my Sonett but since it's home, I'm trying to determine just how much work is involved to get it running again. Also, is the gas tank hard to remove? I imagine with 9 year old gas in it, it should be drained. Thanks as always!
