Does someone have a 1969 Sonett (V4)electrical schematic to aid me in my search?
I'm looking for help in identifying some wires I found in my 1969 Sonett V4 while neatening the temporary routing from a decade ago. The wires are terminated in female spade crimp connections with what looks to be factory original, 50+ year old, black sleeves with printed numbers 56H, 56S and 56V. These three wire ends are on 4 inch leads that go into an enclosed sheathed bundle so I can't simply follow them through the bundle to their other end. The accessible ends are in the engine bay, toward the right(passenger's side) of the firewall, up high near the heater motor. My heater fan motor works as presently wired (off, low speed, high speed)so the loose 56H, S and V wires are not part of the 56n and 58t fan speed control.
I have an original 1967 Sonett owner's manual with a crisp, clear electric schematic. The reprint copy of the 1967 issued factory supplement Sonett service manual also has only that same 1967 Sonett schematic drawing (S 1589) but obviously no 1968 or 1969 prints that might match my car. The 1967 Sonett schematic does not list 56H, S or V. Model 95 and 96 electrical schematics from that same age range also do not list wires with the same identifiers as my three loose wires.
