Ok Here is my dilemma. i have a 1969 sonett v4 the motor was removed by my father to be rebuilt, and placed in the trunk of a large car for storage.
--when that car was crushed :( yeah, sad -the motor was in the trunk.
a rebuilt engine from jack ashcraft is 3000.00 to 4000.00 dollars. but i was wondering if there is a v4 turbo from saab that would fit (from a newer model)i would want the trans and all, because the stock trans is so weak. i have searched weeks without finding info on the subject. i figure since the numbers wont match, i might as well go for it.
please help me if you can i am getting desperate for info. if need be i can always purchase one from jack ashcraft -but without a core, and after shipping the cost goes well over the $3000.00 to $4000.00 .
i hate to think a honda vtec is the easiest solution.
once again, help me, please.
