kansas is right, it should be fairly straightforward IF you've got the right parts. 2-bbl intake manifold is a must, and you also need the matching 2-bbl intermediate flange to provide a connection for the PCV valve (if you get one with a power brake connection as well, you can just plug it -- no power brake booster on a Sonett.)
If your car is old enough to have come with a Solex carb originally, you'll also need the throttle linkage rod off a FoMoCo-equipped car, as the throttle plates turn in opposite directions.
The other problem you're likely to encounter is coming up with an air filter shallow enough to fit under a Sonett hood. Some people install low-profile engine mounts to make a little more clearance, or you can fabricate/improv something that will fit. I've got a 2-bbl Solex on my car, and what I did was cut the bottom out of my stock air cleaner housing, make an adapter plate with the correct-shaped hole for my carb, and rivet it onto the stock housing. Took a lot of cut-and-try and still isn't very pretty, but it works.
