I finally took my Sonett out for the first time yesterday.
And attended the Ohio Valley Region , SCCA Solo II event #7.
A great course using a huge lot of OSU. A 4 cone slalom, average time , mid 40 secs.
FTD 39.2 by a B/M.
My five runs were in the mid to upper 50's at first.
And finally 51 and 50.2 sec. ( I missed the shift, twice! ) and finished in fourth gear!

Car ran good. twitchy... and Lots of body roll.
Looking at still photos taken by the "offical" photog, My Sonett was rolled over as far as any car present. Even farther over than a Mercedes Benz 240 D!

Is there a good fix for the shifter?
One that will tighten up the second gear gate?

And will a sway bar help? From a 96? Or made from scratch?
And of course , more seat time needed. Next event , next week.

Lots of room for improvment. And lots of great comments from older " like me " drivers and second looks from some "tuners".
My persoanlized Historic tag: " SONETT" next to the SAAB rear badge helps answer some questions.

Place? 3rd of 5 FSP cars. Beaten out of trophy by an MGB GT and a GTI.
Any one here had these woes and fixed them?
