I bought used Simpson belts off of e bay.
But be careful of their age. Ask the seller to verify the dates. If they are too old, they will not be acceptable for racing.
For street, just about any will do and you can get some good deals there.
I had to replace my originals. They were just too hard ands stiff to be safe.
( And when I had to unbolt the right one to let my girlfriend out, it was replaced as well!)
I have 3 inch , five point , latch locks, ( pull down ).
And installed them like Mr Vappa.
One sub belt was longer than the other , but both bolted easily through thr floor , backed up with Large washers.
I chose roll bar wrap arounds for the shoulder belts.
My headliner is out so installation was fairly easy.
For clearance between the stock roll bar and roof, I loosened the rear window mounting bolts ( one side at a time) and ( GENTLY!) hand pressed a wood door shim between the two until enough space opened up to insert the belt. Positioned them as needed and re-tightened the bolts.
Three inch belts are a bit wide.. but I feel Very secure in them.
They really help hold one in place during tight auto X turns.
