I think electrical is by far the best way to go. You don't have to dick around with lines and such (which I would worry about when it comes to leaking), besides, you'll end up having to do some wiring for the backlights on the gauges. VDO is good, but there isn't any point in matching brands. The Sonett uses VDO but they look nothing like any gauges you'll find from VDO. I run autometer (and so does nearly every professional race car driver, hint hint), and they have SO MANY kinds of gauges it's amazing (basically their bezels and the faces are the most distinguishing factors between each one). Oh yeah, they also have full sweep (270 degree) electrical gauges available. I think the Z-series would look the best in a stock Sonett (black on black). Personally, I am going with their Pro-Comp gauges (3 3/4 tach, speedo, fuel, and then 2 1/16 oil pressure, water temp, voltmeter, and more). Good luck
