1-9/32" = 1.2812" = a little under 33mm which is 1.29913" so a 33mm socket should fit your nut if you have measured accurately. 1-1/8" = 1.125" which is smaller than your nut measurement, that's for Bob. 1-9/32" is not a standard size in anybody's book, and 33mm is not in mine at least. I think a 1-5/16" socket will probably work fine and it is a standard size. AFAIK, with the exception of the engine which is metric, all Saab fasteners of that vintage are inchic.
