...and it didn't have a bumper when I got it. I think some previous owner smacked the left-front corner pretty hard on something; had the metalwork fixed somewhat crudely and put a new nose on, then got the whole thing resprayed but left the bumper off. I straightened the skewed chassis front by equally crude methods ('Engine Bay Rehab' section of the site) and eventually found another bumper on eBay -- but I remove it when working with the nose off (and for running in rallycross events; if you watched the video you know why!)
The original color was pale yellow -- code plaque says "B7L," I think, which doesn't correspond to any of the color codes on the Swedish Saab club website, but there's still enough of it visible around various spots that I can tell what it was! Unfortunately, when it was repainted, they made no effort to remove it -- just shot primer-surfacer and a new color coat right over it. The paint doesn't look bad, but it's REALLY thick! I'd like to get it resprayed, but that's been holding me up -- I know that I don't dare put a third coat on it, so the whole thing would have to go all the way back to the gelcoat to get decent results, and that would be a big job!
What part is stuck tight? You mean the pistons in the calipers? I moved mine most of the way out by pumping the pedal BEFORE I disconnected the hydraulic lines, so didn't run into that problem. People say you can pop them out with compressed air -- but be careful, because when they come out they can really fly!
Good luck --
