I have owned 3 bmw's....2 3 series and a 7 series. Great cars, all three.
However, i bought an 06 93 sc aero in feb of 07. The car had 12 miles on the odometer and i paid $26,200 due to saab fantastic manufacturers rebate. Go find a carryover bmw or audi with that kind of rebate. You wont.
At $26,200 the saab is a terrific automobile. Ive had a couple of minor glitches that the dealer promtly fixed. I have 35,000 miles on the car and recently had the brakes inspected.....brakes have plently of remaining life...no need for the inevitable brake job.
Saab has the feel of a cheaper car as compared to bmw because if you buy smart it is a MUCH cheaper car. It also is a good car. Not perfect, but good. At its price point it has much to offer...a fun to drive, eye catching, and reliable car.
I simply dont understand the constant comparison to bmw...to me it is a little ridiculous.
