the CEL comes on.. say.. o... once every 6 months. every time, d'frent problem. I've have 2 bosch BOV's go bad. 1 cat, 1 DI cass, 1 turbo surge regulator (whatever THAT was), etc.
Just passed 50K, took the '01 9-3 SE into dealership for the last overhaul before warranty's over and everything got fixed. 800 miles later... CEL comes on again and the car's in limp mode. Everything SEEMS fine, good idle, A/C ok, no leaks, etc.
Chicago dealership charges $65 just for diagnostics. Can I just go to Autozone or someone to pull the OBD2 code w/o TECH2? Which auto parts store does this? Pepboys? Murray's? NAPA? I'm seriously at a loss here and being unemployed does not help at all.
Much thanks,
Tony
