Incredible!!! The bearing looks like mine at 88,000. The exact sam one failed one mine. Only I was not so lucky. SKF also makes the wheel bearings which also have a high failure rate with seemingly low miles. It makes me mad to think about it.
Anders: You mentioned that volvos need o rings for the pickup I think. I have a 96 850 too. Please reply with the part number for the o ring. I repalced the engine because of the ticking in the valves. My last engine with 150,000 ticked periodically. So when it was time to change the clutch and engine mounts, I repleced the engine too. I am wierd but I figured it was time. Thanks
