Well, it is not much to do since Saab have not included the 2003 and up in the recall just as they haven't included the 99 4 cyl and the 99-2000 and 2002 V6 in it either.
What is amazing though is that they try to pull a quick one since the price of the IDM already is lowered ($219.00 retail) and have been since December, AND that it is a new IDM out on the market that "supposedly" is the latest and greatest (see picture).
If they installed the true 30-583-218 (which is only a GM number change of the 9197559) then you got the same version as was installed from factory in your car in 2003 (version TK 3.6)
Saab is trying to get rid of as many as possible of the TK 3.6 ones and I got a box from my supplier where the 9197559 was erased and 55559955 added with a marker on the box and the IDM inside was the old style. So I sent it back.
