Most magazine reviewers have stated that the Viggen's tendency to torque steer is far less in the new aero. I personally agree with that. Performance differences,if you mean the kind that are measured with a stopwatch, amout to about two to three tenths of a second in the 0-60 mph time. Does that matter to you? Only you can say, but these two cars have such different personalities and driving charecteristics, that it is unlikely that many people would make the choice between the two based on the acceleration differences. It is just too slim a difference in my opinion to do so.For me, Aero wins out handily for a ton of reasons, but main one would be it's superb transmission.(auto)Saab's manual shifters are kind of sloppy, and at this pointI feel that manual shifting will go the way of the buggy whip.
Try the Aero.
