By the way, the Aero I first drove was a manual.
My A4 1.8 was FWD, which stock has virtually no torque steer, but when I chipped it I regretted not having Quattro, as torque steer was definitely noticable.
So when I drove the Viggen, it's not like I was used to RWD - I was already used to some torque steer in a turbocharged car. The A4 is an extremely refined car, and the Viggen seemed like a bad joke to me.
With the chip, I had 197hp and 235 lb-ft - in a car that cost $26k new, while the Viggen stickered for around 40k - shocking in comparison. Yes, I now know that you can get substantial discounts. So by price the Viggen is targeted at the S4 - how could you even compare the two?
