We didn't actually do a flush. He called a guy he knows at a radiator shop and the guy gave him the idea to clean out dirt and debris stuck in the little nooks and crannies on the outside of the radiator. He said it was a very common problem in Audis for the radiator to fill up with road debris and not work well. He said a ton of stuff came out of mine when he did that using compressed air and a garden hose. That was 6 years worth of stuff though, I doubt it would fill back up after one winter, especially since I don't do the amount of driving the last owner did. What's involved with the backflush tee? Do you have to cut radiator hose to install it? How easy of a DIY thing is it? Thanks.
