It sounds as if it could be one of two things:
1) the rebuild performed by ATE was not successful, or
2) the problem in the ABS system is something that cannot be repaired by a controller rebuild
Code P0501 means "brake controller not programmed", although not the same as the P1925 code my car displayed it would seem to be a controller issue. Try ATE for warranty and let them know of the code the Dealership found.
