different cars, different issues.
Our '03 9-5 Linear wagon, at 104K miles, has been pretty good. Needed rear shocks at 55K. DI cassette at about 75K. Both under CPO as was PCV#6. Coolant by-pass around 90K or so. From reports here, 90-100K is the failure point on those. One for a Caddy Catera is the same part, less money. We have no evidence of abnormal tire wear so far. I don't have a spare DI for that car as the newer ones and the updated software seems to have addressed the problem.
So, at the miles you're looking at, I'd make sure the DI is the latest version. Also be sure the serp belt was done, along with the pulleys. See how recent the battery is. I've had three batteries on three different Saabs die relatively suddenly in the past year (one each on a OG9-3, a 9k and the 9-5). At 100K the car is likely on its 2nd battery and it could be nearing end of life.
Obviously, it'd be good if you can get a sense of oil change history on the car you're looking at. We did changes every 5K with Mobil 1. Still doing that.
The 9K is easier to work on. Our two have 150K and 182K miles so most of the usual stuff has been done. The 9-5 is a great car. I like both the 9K and the 9-5 in different ways. More refined than the 9K, and like any modern car, better on NVH. I don't think it feels as connected to the road as a 9K, but it's still fine.
