It's not like the rear, where there is a litany of issues starting with an uncompensated lowering of a suspension designed for big camber change with spring deflection. Note that like all strut suspension designs, there is very little camber change in the front when the springs compress (or extend). And loading up the car changes the load in the front less than in the rear. And the front springs are much stiffer to begin with than the rear, for even less variation with load. And there is no history of spring sag in the front, just the rear.
In my case, the measured camber was slightly off; not so much as the rear, but still out of spec. The shop I use in Tampa (Saaab Store) developed their camber adjustment procedure for 9000s and use it for all the Saabs with McPhearson struts. The existence of "camber bolts" for virtually every strut equipped car out there indicates that it's a common issue. In fact, I had presented them with a set of those and asked that they give it a try - due to the undersized threads on the camber bolts, they couldn't get enough clamping force to lock the thing in place.
