The CPS replacement is a good idea. My old 9-3 got towed for this one time. Cheap part. Are the belt tensioners and pulley bearings prone to early failures as well? I have read about front and rear suspension bits wearing out as well on the 9-5's, not sure what folks are replacing. Fuel pumps are expensive, so will probably run till at least 125k or failure. I have replaced all the filters several times, except for the gas filter. Trying to find a good source for ACC pixel repair. BBA Reman wants 175.00 for repair. I heard Kramer is not good. I sent my 9-3 SID to Guy Senesac, but it failed again a few years later.
I have never been too fond of this car, the ride is awful. My wife drove it the last 9 years. I got her a 2010 S80 and she loves that car. My old 00 9-3 SE hit 195k and I sold it to a fellow Saabneter. I really miss that car.
