to Mike Lynch re HK audio

I know that audio is in the ear of the beholder, but I noted that you were raving about the HK. Sorry but to my ears, the sound has too many highs and not enough lows and is focused in the front/dash of the car (not surprising since there are three upfacing speakers in the dash!)
I preferred the Bose system I had in my Audi. Now THAT system was very well balanced and smooth. I get the sense that Saab is trying to make the best of a bad old situation re: speaker placement, and that in the new 9-3 this was high on the list of things to be addressed.
Also for comparison, if you dare to risk going to the BMW 3-series forum, the quality of their HK system is a hotly debated topic.
