Thank you all for your thoughts.
I originally drove both at a dealer where the speed limit never exceed 30mph and couldn't tell much of a difference. Tonight I went to a dealer on the highway and found, in my opinion, that the 4 out accelerated the 6 at low speeds. Above 60, the 6 appeared neglibly better. Overall, I preferred the 4. Add the fact that it takes regular, gets better mileage and is $60 less per year on insurance, I'll go for the 4. I even opened up the hoods to make sure the cars were what the dealer said they were. That's how impressed I was with the 4.
