True, true.
When the fuel light comes on and the DTE reads whatever it reads, that MPG number is based that last 20 minutes of driving (IIRC). So, say the DTE reads 50mi-if you're driving highway, it may stretch out longer than that-or, if you're stuck in city traffic, it will be much less than that.
One time, I couldn't get to a gas station in my SET and had the DTE reading 4mi. That was a few years ago, and nothing ever happened as result of that.
